In recent years, ConnauTech has extended its work in the commercialisation of Intellectual Property (IP) owned by UK Universities.
In addition to a significant increase of activity with the University of Leeds (previously reported on this website), we have worked with a number of other prominent Universities including Salford and Liverpool John Moores (LJMU). This includes:
- An innovative plasma at Salford University which operates at atmospheric pressure and offers advantages for key commercial applications including high-value surface etching
- Proprietary technology at LJMU based on unique research experience in muscle metabolism and proteomics
In all cases, our commercialisation process has been based on a consistent, established methodology. This generally involves key activities such as IP analysis (using a “Technology Filter” developed over many years at ConnauTech Ltd), market assessments and industrial partnering.
